I’m Pete Selednik, and I spent 25 years in tech—most recently as an L7 Technical Program Manager at Meta—before stepping back to rethink how this work should actually be done.
After two and a half decades of building products, managing teams, and navigating the organizational dynamics that make or break projects, I realized something: the tools are changing faster than ever, but we’re still approaching project management the same way we did 20 years ago. That doesn’t work anymore.
So I started Macro Delta Software to help organizations embrace what’s actually possible now: AI handling the administrative grunt work, while PMs focus on what we should have been doing all along—the organizational therapy that moves projects forward.
Why I Started Macro Delta
In August 2024, I left Meta without a job lined up. I took six months to step back, rest, and think about what I wanted the next chapter to look like. I was eager to develop methods to
I wanted to help other PMs—and the organizations they work in—figure out how to work more sustainably. Not by adding more process or tools, but by using AI to eliminate the overhead that doesn’t actually move work forward, and focusing our human energy on what matters: understanding people, navigating conflict, building trust, making decisions.
That’s what Macro Delta is: a different way of approaching project management. Practical, sustainable, and built for how work actually gets done. Forward looking and leading the way to a new era of Project Management.
What Makes This Different
Most PM consultants will give you frameworks, templates, and best practices from their corporate playbook. That’s fine if you want more process.
I’m not interested in giving you more process.
I’m interested in helping you figure out what’s actually blocking your team, why your projects keep stalling, and how to fix the human dynamics that no Gantt chart can solve. And then using AI to handle the rest so you’re not drowning in status reports.
I bring 25 years of experience across AI, computer vision, social media, medical devices, consumer products, infrastructure, and platform work. I’ve shipped products to billions of users. I’ve managed distributed teams, navigated acquisitions, and dealt with every organizational mess you can imagine.
But more importantly, I’ve learned that the best PMs aren’t the ones with the best spreadsheets. They’re the ones who can read a room, have hard conversations, and help teams actually work together. That’s what I focus on.
